CKRBL 2 BHCC 3 Lynne M-Robb 1860 Nick 950 Neil Burchell 2680 Ros 3410 Andy F-Wright 2670 Neil 1930 Paul M-Robb 1770 Trevor 2450 Peter Harris 940 Spud 2220 First game bizarre, no scores on the board at 8 minutes (Lynne had a few hundred, but BP'd) Lynne gradually got going, Nick never did. Neil H very unlucky against Andy, he had just overtaken Andy by a few hundred when he left a ball awkward just to the inside of the 30 pocket. He clipped it with a very fine contact and the cue ball flew back to take out a peg. Splendid effort from Trevor, who potted steadily at the back of the table. Nice friendly evening at the club. Hope Ted recovers from his badly cut thumb soon. We were all relieved that apple pie was not part of the refreshments of offer!

Finally played tonight (30/11/17) following postponements by each side......... Plough 2, Windmill Z 3 (in order played) Jan 3160, Jim 5260 (Jan in command for most of the game but Foxy taking it with his final visit) Chase 5380, Mick 540 (Mick unlucky to lose a well-crafted 2k opener, Chase went from strength to strength)Dave 3350, Clive 1760 ( I lost scores on both my first visits, couldn't get 'em back after that, Dave steady througout) Ric 1010, Graham 6630 (Ric 4-timed his 1.5k opener, then always struggling after Graham's 4k reply)Richard 2000, Johnny 2380 (Johnny defending a 1.5k lead for most of the game, bar went at wrong time for Richard)Competitive match against sporting opponents, edge of the seat stuff. Johnny Aceed our hero for the second night running. Good to welcome Mick back, and to learn that Dave's eye ops have been successful. We missed Geoff though, still struggling with back problem. Good savoury spread with sauces, tommos choice being sausage rolls dipped in English mustard.
