Problem is, it's a narrow table. This would immediately preclude any interest from 90% of the bar billiards world (Suitable only to play 4-Pin, aka "Snookerette" on, which is primarily played in East Anglia and the Fens district.)

Interesting statistic there Tommo ..90% I know you like facts and figures Over the last 12 months full size skittle /mushroom sales (that's 40 sets) That breaks down to :- 16 sets of 4 skittles 3 sets of 3 skittles 21 sets of 4 mushrooms Interesting

Ok - first of all, some of the keener 3-pinners amongst us have been tempted to buy sets of mushrooms. I started a 4-pin league in Sussex (taken over now by Gandalf) and I own 5 sets - he probably the same.
I reckon my claimed split of 9:1 between the two versions is about right when you make a tally of leagues. I am aware of a few of our (3-Pin) players who have been caught out in the past by buying a nice-looking table on eBay which turned out to be a narrow one (34" instead of 36") and have been obliged to sell it on. But apart from the odd private maverick with money to burn, no-one is going to pay silly money for something that's unsuitable for practising their chosen version on.
