Stout House 'F' 1 Springbok SC 4
Colin 1540 Trevor 4330 One of those games when it came together for Trevor and Colin just did not get any luck. Trevor started well and Colin had to work to catch him, making mistakes that Trevor took advantage of.
Stuart 130 Bill 790 Stuart lost a lot of points that may have well reversed this result, but neither player really got going. Bill let Stuart in early but with a BP and a number of white pegs he really was against it. Bill did enough, but was also off colour.
Lee 310 Robin 4390 Good to have Robin back after a long bout of ill health and he clearly was not match rusty starting very positively. Lee made an early error when he did get on the table, which Robin used to his advantage putting the game beyond Lee's reach.
Grant 1490 Gary 1990 Gary started brightly, but this did not deter Grant who came back him well to even things up. Gary then appeared to get a bit jumpy making and started to make mistakes which gave Grant an opportunity to nibble away at Gary's modest lead. The bar and time came to the rescue and Gary was relieved to get the point.
Scott 3080 Mike 2340 Even balanced game that saw both Scott and Mike have every opportunity to put big scores on the board. Mike was steady throughout, however Scott found decent form to put the game out of his reach.
A different table than the last time we played on it a couple of weeks ago, bizarre. As ever a very nice evening with the 'Fs' who always make us welcome.

White Hart 3 Stout House A 2
John 4810 James 1520 After a slow start John got into gear Nobby 8760 Barry 340 Nobby still in his rich vein of form Neil 1630 John 1820 very scrappy John just hanging on at the finish Colin 2410 Tony 1590 Colin always keeping his nose in front Barney 870 Barry 4pr 2590 I managed to miss the break then knock the black over. Barry seemed to find the 100 hole from every quarter of the table and went on to a deserved win
