A better start to the second half for us, Graham spilling a winning break to prevent us from getting too excited. Not much else in the way of luck for the home team. Table good, opponents friendly, sarnies good with generous fillings. Franksy up in Sheffield for daughter Kirsty's graduation but back next week.

Sammy and myself doing enough early in our games, Iain taking advantage on an ill Pete in the second and late super sub Jean finally getting over the line in the last. Steve King got the point for the home side (having stepped during the match when Derek was unable to make it) in a very friendly game with both players pegging and giving each other the break back for the first 10 minutes.
Over Christmas I have forgotten what being a captain involves having left the name tags and scorecards at home. A betting slip and a pen later I have got something together. On the plus side did remember by cue and went to the right pub :)
