A fun evening between two fairly even matched teams , playing on a table which wasn't on its best behaviour.

Tony played an excellent game to beat Dom , who was on a good night.
Dilly was on a 4k break when missing completely. Scrappy for a long time , he eventually got home.
Jack got his first ever win , in a close game with Sabina, showing what a few games practice can achieve.
I got in front and stayed there rather unconvincingly, as we both missed the break , and points were lost , as the table played tricks with us.
Paul started well in the last . Jen twice got going and then lost thousand plus breaks. Paul hung on and got the win.

Thank you. It has to be said though that no favours were done to the home team by the Pool players in close proximity: Paul, Steve and Darrell all getting knocked from behind when lining up for a shot. Fortunately not whilst in mid-stroke, but even so noticeably causing a loss of equanimity.

Marion unlucky: had a nice break of 700 going, made exclusively off the 50s, but found the gap.
