Hassocks B 2-3 BHCC
Jack lost to Neil Chris beat Trev Barry beat Lyn Dilly lost to Paul Dom lost to Ros
Good company , with the usual good spread of food. Ros has scores but most games were fairly one sided , and the stronger team deservedly won.

Windmill Z 5, CKRBL 0 Barry 4820, Paul M-R 1740 (Steady play from Barry) Jim 11500, Lynne M-R 1250 (Foxy gave Lynne some chances early on before knuckling down) Clive 5600, Andy F-W 5420 (Andy a slow and patient 4.5k start, tommo a disappointing 1.7k reply, Andy another 500, then tommo just under 4k.....Andy rallied well and had three shots at the 100 to win, tommo sinking it at the third time of asking. Great game.) Graham 2530, Ted 2030 (Graham spilled his 4k opener when a swing on the 50 parked a ball tight up against the BP. He tried to cut it away but the peg wobbled and then decided to fall. Ted (in impressive wolf teeshirt) responded well, then Graham just doing enough) Johnny 2860, Peter H 1970 (Peter(in impressive Elvis teeshirt) played some good shots but Johnny's table knowledge the difference)
CKRBL will win matches playing worse than this, a mixture of luck and determination got us two points more than we probably deserved. Hassocks A with their great win last night have turned it into a two horse race. Best wishes for Jenny, now in for her treatment, and hoping she will be able to make a complete recovery.

Only me I do not have the scores, but Watermill beat the Saints 3-2, so still really close for the wooden spoon. Paul, Gavin, and Tony for the Mill. Tony won the 5th leg decider. Myself and Mat for the Saints. TSO
