Does that mean the unthinkable will happen and Vikings A go down? ;)

Does that mean the unthinkable will happen and Vikings A go down? ;) If we abide by the rules that's what should happen Phil but I'm sure someone will try to stop it happening!

Didn't a rule come in to say you would only get promoted/relegated if you had more/less points than the team you were replacing? I have not looked at the tables before posting this so not sure if this would come into force anyway.

if it hasn't been put in place, it should be in my opinion - otherwise you will always get a yo-yo effect !

You win the league, you get promoted or you finish bottom of the league you get demoted, Surely you can't, or shouldn't, keep winning the same league every year should you?

If we lose a team or two next season, surely we would only have two divisions and this situation would not arrive.

or perhaps the time has come for two sections or go for a high-brid, everyone plays everyone and then the overall table is cut based on the results at that stage, then those teams play off aginst there own section once more ?

I have not looked at the tables before posting this so not sure if this would come into force anyway. If this was the case Mark then the only teams to move would be Glads A 44 points going down to section 2 & Headington Con Club 48 points going up to section 1 . We at the Masons would love to have a shot at premier section maybe with a bit if recruitment we might give it a go . With Vikings A on 69 points which is 5 points higher than us so should maybe stay up after all they were champions last season . I also agree with Roger that we may only enough for 2 sections any way . Thanks to Berinsfield & Democrats for the great challenge in Section 1 but must admit find it strange that Glads A only registered 44 points with the players they have .
