Hi Everybody
There seems to be confusion about the timing of my operation, Everybody at Roffey last night thought that I had made a brilliant recovery
When I re-read my original message, I can see the problem. The word "Tomorrow" means the day after the Week's matches, Thursday 5th April and not the day after I originally posted the message
Thank you for all the kind messages
See you soon, probably at Finals Night
Best Wishes JT

Springbok Club 3 Stout House "F" 2
Bill 3290 Colin 1380
Colin had a slow start allowing Bill to take control, things were not quite going for Colin and he found the break indifferent, which continued to let Bill in. Bill just played his steady game, head down, slowly building a lead Colin was unable to claw back.
Gary 2370 Stuart 1770 Both players had a bit of a mare, with Gary losing points and Stuart just not getting the rub of the green. An early error by Stuart let Gary build a 2K break and after that it just got messy with the table loaded with balls.
Mike 600 Grant 3640 Mike was never in this game, was certainly one of his poorest performances for a while. Grant, however was steady and got his eye in ealry to build his score and command the game.
Trevor 1270 Scott 2730 A slow start from both players and when Scott left the break up short Trevor had the opportunity to take advantage, but missed a fairly easy pot. After that grant nosed in front and with a decent 1K break got the light between him and Trevor, who for all his attempts, simply could not get the balls down.
Gary (4 player rule) 7350 Dave 1900 Dave did not start as brightly as we expected and let Gary in quite early on. Gary built a decent score and then Dave hit back with an equally good score. Gary then got his head down realising Dave is more than capable of smashing in a decent score and produced a winning break.
A great night with the F's never a dull moment and really good to see that despite the loss they still enjoy their night.
GOOD LUCK JT with the hip op, hopefully you will be back to full fitness soon.

A stray carrier pigeon intercepted by myself has released the following intelligence: Limeburners 2.5, Alfold SC 2.5 Southwater SC 4, Roffey SSC 1 (with White Hart's and Limeburners' results going in their favour, this one frame sufficient to bag the League title for Roffey)Division One | P | W | D | L | F | A | Pts |
