Roffey Club 5 Springbok Club ABF0 In order of play Sniffer 7340 Bill 940 Obviously Bill had his mind on his lambing ewes and could not get going. Once Sniffer got to the table he blew any chance of Bill delivering the win and built a score worthy of a champion, Bill sat patiently waiting for the axe to fall for the final Chop and was just grateful Sniffer did not Ram the result down his proverbial! Sleesy 6150 Trevor 1080 Trevor found the break, but simply could not do the one up and Sleesy made him pay, though Trevor had another good opportunity to build on his score the one up eluded him and in the words of the Greta Stranglers "Nice 'n' sleazy, nice 'n' sleazy Does it, does it, does it every time". Twiggy 3730 Graham (Not Robin) 250 I have never seen a player, play so well and not put any points on the board, poor Graham built decent scores on several occasions only to peg out. Twiggy was not much better and there was a time the scorer called for a lumberjack. It was almost a case of Twiggy by name and nature, however, experience shone through in the end and Roffey's very own British cultural icon and former teenage model took the third point. Moose 6090 Gary 4830 Gary set the bar and gave Moose it all to do, the pendulum swung one way then the other and it was a late spurt from the Moose, loose in the Hoose that secured his win. In recognition to the Moose's fantastic season JT has spared no expense to make this fitting tribute . All Hail The Moose (Hope you approve Lee...) Dicktor Meldrew 10510 Trevor (again) 2270 Mr Meldrew had the break, which was great as Trevor had plundered a large bowl of curry as the handle was pulled on the table. Dick was on fire and between mouthfuls of curry and belching Trevor could only look on in awe. When he did get to the table he suffered the one up block again and though got two decent breaks together that was that. Well done to the Champions, worthy winners.
