Hi Guys,
I have spoken to Tom tonight and can confirm that the open is still first bank holiday weekend in may 2019.
Please when forms are out make sure you enter early as this event is getting more and more popular every year and over subscribed.
Look forward to seeing everyone next year, just maybe not Mr Trafford if he keeps winning! lol

Is it just me? A cue must be in the hold, not in cabin luggage, and flights are then another £50 more expensive. Anyone from Sussex going by ferry this year who would like to take an extra cue?

Trevor Gallienne put down a marker, winning the first trophy available this weekend. He beat Ian Champion in the Guernsey Masters. Trevor had earlier defeated Tom Oliver in the first semi-final, gaining revenge for a rare defeat in the Guernsey Island Singles held earlier this year. Champ had managed to beat Guernsey Island player Darren Ogier in a close and tensely fought semi final.
A big Guernsey welcome and good luck to all visitors taking part this weekend and a big shout goes out to the sponsors and committee who work so hard to put this event on. Also massive thanks to all the helpers who store and move tables to ensure this event goes ahead.

Hi everyone I realise I’m a little late posting this but I would like to congratulate everyone who put the time and effort into making the Guernsey open weekend a huge success. Long may it continue. Now looking forward to The Sussex open weekend.
