Hi all
The Redhill league has a Sams table (full width) which is surplus to requirements and we are looking to sell. We would prefer to sell it to someone here instead of eBay if possible, so if anyone is potentially interested please let us know. Open to sensible offers.
It's in decent condition, photos will follow at some point but it's currently in storage.
Thanks, Joe

How much roughly are you looking to fetch for it?

Hi Phil, thanks for your reply. We would like to get a fair price, I had a look through tommos thread for past sales, I know that is a few years old now but that looks to range from £500 for the reasonable ones with some going for over £800, so we would be looking in that sort of range. Its not my final decision on the price would need to run it past other committee members but I'm sure with a genuine buyer we will come to a agreement, we are a friendly lot ;) do I take it you may be interested?
Cheers, Joe

Evening Joe
Could I register my interest in this table please? What is the current condition? Are you able to get any photos?
Cheers Trev

Hi Trev,
Thanks for your interest. Yes photos will follow but the table is currently stored with someone who's away on holiday, so that might be a couple of weeks, sorry a out that. Condition wise, I believe everything is good and in order, We used it as a league table for a while and it played fine, but as all our other tables are jelkes this was the one to go, the reason being venues closing and we now have too many tables.
Have had interest from a few of you and will send photos to all interested once I have them and we can go from there.
Cheers, Joe

Cheers, Joe Hi Joe, it is certainly something I might be interested in. Would the committee prefer the full amount or would they accept instalments at all? By all means though if someone comes in with a concrete offer before me don't turn them away. Cheers Phil

Hi again,
Now that I have put photos up, could anyone who has showed an interest let me know if they are still interested in making an offer. I think something in the range £700-£800 would be a fair price, in the event of multiple competing offers then I feel that we should go in the order of who expressed an interest first. Obviously your offer can be conditional on inspecting the table and of course we could arrange that. I will leave it here until the weekend to give everyone who wants to a chance to reply. Let me know if you have any more questions in the mean time.
Thanks, Joe

We have now sourced a table but hopefully there is still plenty of interest in what looks to be a very reasonably priced table. Thanks Trev

Thanks all for your interest. Just to let you know this is still available. Quite a few people have shown an interest but no concrete offers so far, so please let me know if you're still interested.
Cheers Joe

Can you register my interest please, Jel, in view of my recent post:
Probably too early at this stage (move from Crawley to Hastings only took place last week) but if everyone else drops out and we become top of the list then I'll get in touch with her. Can't ask for better provenance than a Redhill table !

Hi all, this is still for sale and as we've had no concrete offers it is likely to go on eBay next week after our next committee meeting. Please get in touch in the meantime if interested!
Thanks, Joe

Pleased to see that it went for a decent price (£908.10) - hopefully to a good home.
