Keith Newman 2520 Lee Tugwell 1060 Chris Wells 1570 Grant Hope 680 Mel Blake 2110 Colin Bolton 1110 Tony Franks 3220 Dave Simmons 1370 Tony Temple 1490 Scott Hope 2560
No individual comments this week so as not to embarrass anybody. Everybody struggled with a table that was uphill and quick but, thanks to Tarratt's team replacing the spots, almost impossible to get the break. Most games comprised lots of low scoring breaks with eventual winners largely decided by steering clear of pegs.
Not a brilliant night for the Billiards but a fun evening anyway with old mates. Tony. T launching a credible challenge for Billy's "Top Onions" crown with a particularly fiery offering.
Man of the match: Whilst nobody else (well, Mel did once but proved it to have been a fluke) could get the break , Franksy, the technician, discovered (albeit by accident) that the 50-100 break was on... and managed to repeat it.

Alfold SCSC 1 Springbok Club 4
Dave 380 Bill 2870 Bill took an early lead and Dave found himself chasing the game, and finding the pegs at almost every visit. Bill persevered and put together a couple of helpful breaks. Poor Dave added more pain when hitting the BP near the end, it was not his night.
Kelly 1160 Trevor 2380 I messed up early letting Kelly in to take a modest lead. The balls then got trapped at the bottom of the table and we both had to work hard to get the break back, which thankfully I did. I managed to put a fairly decent score up, which left Kelly all to do with no time on her side.
Malcolm 890 Mike 1410 Both Malc and Mike seemed determined to make a close game of this as they could, with friendly breaks going one way then the other. Mike broke the deadlock with a mid game break, which Malc could not match, but to be fair he did not get a lot of luck.
Garry 1290 Gary 3250 A slow start for both the G's, with neither making an impression. Young G eventually got his eye in and put a decent break together, but in all honestly had Mature G been on form, this result could have been reversed.
Jason 3660 Chaz BFZ
Chaz let Jason in straight away and he was not taking any prisoners putting together string of flowing breaks. Chaz did out points on the board but decided to BP with the last ball, he will learn!!
Great night, lovely grub (thanks Delia)
