The 2018 Master’s tournament will take place on Sunday 2nd. December at the Locomotive, commencing at noon. Roast dinners and other food items will be available to be purchased throughout the day.
The competition is open to players who have registered to play in this season’s league competition and who also finished in the top 16 rankings of last season’s individual merit table.
The format of the competition will consist of 2 phases;
Phase 1: A group stage with 4 groups of 4 players, each player playing 1 game against each other player in their group, equal breaks.
Phase 2: The top 2 players from each group will enter into the knock out stage.
The top 16 players from last season are :-
The next 4 players in the individual merit table are designated as reserves and can enter the competition in turn if any of the original 16 players withdraw from the competition.
Reserves
Next reserves in line are :- James Whittle, Colin Green and John Dynes.
The detailed rules and schedule for the competition will be issued once all competitors are known.
Therefore could those players listed please indicate no later than November 16th whether or not they wish to enter the competition.

Congratulations to Nigel Senior for becoming the 2018 Masters Champion. Nigel beat Declan Dynes in the final with the losing semi-finalist being Steve Beach and Stuart Mepham. The results scorecard is attached giving further information.
