Hello. Good morning and welcome
Match report follows from the Montreal B v Railway Club
Paul Bramhall 300 v Brian Muggeridge 9870 Peter Gwilliam 1610 v Steve Hurley 5450 Mark Buckle 3370 v Sheena Wood 320 Stewart Matthews 980 v Liam Hurley BP Paul Bramhall 680 v Steve Hurley 103010
Both Brian and Steve were on immense form. For me terrifying to play against. Stuart and Liam was a good game, credit to you both,
And just as an aside for Nigel. Should I just show the towel in or has anyone been beaten over two legs by 2K? What a priceless game,

ALBION C 4 THE COUNTY OAK 1
Grant 1230 chelle 1940 Kev 12910 jack 500 Boball 7120 stuart 1010 Jim 13670 alan 790 Geoff 7640 jean 1820
So here for the report
Game 1 Grant put his first one up behind on what can be described as lightening quick Chelle responded with 10 and that set the tone of the game for 15 minutes. Grant lost 2k and chelle responded with 1.6k to steal the game.
Game 2 back to normality Jack loses opener kev doesnt get balls back but jack off and chunky didnt need a 2nd invite game over 10k and touch 1 nervy moment but he played a blinder
Game 3 well stuart loses opener boball plays the 2nd worst shot of the night and takes a peg on just under 4k but at the 2nd time of asking touches on 5.5k and seals a 2-1 lead
Game 4 jim taking the break tonight and going perfectly until he plays the worst shot of the night and left his 1up short (thats shocking) but alan couldnt take advantage and was off early and jim killed the game off
Game 5 jean was out of sorts and geoff made steady progress through the game to seal a 4-1 win for the albion looking forward to playing at the county oak in 2 weeks

Ok for the benefit of Marmite!!!
Bevy A 3-2 Pocket Rocket B Kev Stoner 4,470 1,140 Dave Roberts - Legs took a little while to get going but a good break midway was enough Zoe Stoner B/P 1,840 Gemma Wilson - Zoe never got going in this one and Gemma always did enough when she got to the table. Bella Stoner 4,510 2,980 Matt ??? - Matt was given chances but never took them and Bella killed it near the end. Doug Stoner (well I didn't want to be left out) 5,710 180 Toni Hunt - I should have taken it easy but hey I was enjoying myself. Toni had no luck at all. Zoe Stoner 2,350 4,050 - Zoe had warmed up by now but still couldn't hold Alan off.
Doug (Dawson by the way)

My heartfelt thanks for all your now improved contributions ( especially old Doug Stoner ), just a kick up the derriere for my own wonderful captain and for the County Oak A to put there heads above the parapet. Our own match with the Caxton was a thing of beauty gone wrong, nightmares for one particular member of the squad, but as my wife said " its only a game " she did nt get her Cocoa.
