Just to confuse everybody, here is the result and report for the game that was postponed from 2nd January, played on 23rd January. Three Bees 2 Stout House F 3 John Tudhope 4820 Grant Hope 1780 Dave Lennon 4130 Lee Tugwell 1180 Steve Eely 980 Colin Bolton 2770 Mick Clack 2760 Scott Hope 4020 Lin Lennon 730 Dave Simmons 6860 Game 1: An early slip from Grant let Tuddy in for a 2k. Some superb shots into the 100 not enough to reel him in. Game 2: Similar to Game 1, Lee let Dave in early for a 2k lead. A decent 1kish from Lee worth noting. Game 3: Steady game from Colin. Unusually, nothing going for Slippery Steve. Game 4: Close to start, Scott of the Carfax eeked out a 1k lead. Clacky not quite getting the break back to catch. Game 5: 2 all, no pressure, Dave could do no wrong and cracked off with 5k. No luck for Lin. An entertaining evening spent with old friends rounded off with a super spread of sandwiches and chips. MOM: An inanimate Man of the Match tonight in the form of the Windmill table. I don't know what Tarratt's have done to it but it played so well whilst still retaining some of it's quirks. Definitely a table to watch. A very able table Mr Cable...!
