Stout House F 1 Southwater SC 4
Scott Hope 2930 Chris Wells 1430 Dave Simmons 2270 Tony Temple 3760 Colin Bolton 3140 Mel Blake 4120 Stuart Hope 200 Tony Franks 4670 Grant Hope 1090 Keith Newman 4580
Game 1: Good start from Chris, Scott of the Carfax got his nose in front and kept it there. Game 2: Funny game. Neither player really taking the initiative early on. Dave 1k up then a 2k from Tony just before the bar took it. Game 3: Almost carbon copy of Game 2. Mel coming good at the end. Game 4: 3k6 start from Franksy enough. Pops hampered by a BP midway. Game 5: Noggsy surprised himself and made use of his 'otherworld' home advantage. Not much going for Grant.
Fun evening in which the result could have swung either way. Good spread of Barry's Finest F - Class food at the end.
Man of the match: Scott of the Carfax managed a superb Up-down red in the 200 and made it look as though he went for it.
