KT and Martin beat I and Rick 2-0 at the Marine view last evening. KT was off early but first to get them back and then worked the table out to ensure the 1st leg. I had 2 goes at the break in the 2nd before KT got them back and made sure. Good luck in the future rounds.

Singles QF Chris Cox v Mark James at the Henty, I think this match merits a brief report. Legs 1 & 2 were both killed with opening breaks of 10k plus. In the decider, I elected to go first. I broke down on 15,200, with the extra coin inserted Chris seemed certain to overhaul that score. However, as he passed 15k himself he was faced with a ball at the top of the table, and came up agonisingly short on 15,130. Thus I won by 70 points. Sincere commiserations to Chris, who was particularly unfortunate not to get over the line.

Gary and Nick beat Ben and Pete 2-0 tonight. Two very close games. Played at Marine View as Albion needed for inter-league for Brighton A. Thanks to Martyn for letting us play as bar closed. Table a little tricky but decent scores. Thanks to Mr B for scoring second leg.

Senior & Knight won 2-0 tonight, first leg close but we managed 2 breaks to their 1, which was the difference. Nigel then got enough in second leg
