I have moved the Hampshire board to the not affiliated to AEBBA section. Losing a county affiliation is a seriously sad day for bar billiards

It would be nice if we had some idea of who paid their fees this year. Here in Suffolk we feel we are counted as a minor county as we only play 4 pin but have still continued to pay.

As with every year, the accounts will be published in the AGM documentation. All affiliated counties pay the same fee and enjoy the same rights.

Counties Affiliation fees paid for 2019:-
Kent Sussex Surrey Oxford Northants Suffolk Bucks Notts Berkshire Hampshire
Affiliation Fees are now due for 2020. Would all counties wishing to remain affiliated transfer £30 (if not done) to the All England Bar Billiard Association.

According to earlier posts Hampshire were also affiliated and played in the 2019 AE Singles so must have been affiliated. barbilliards.proboards.com/thread/21933/all-england-singles-ladies-2019

Did Cambs not pay? I thought they did? Got our agm coming up so let me know and I'll sort for 2019 and 2020 Cambridge did not pay for 2019. Looking at the rules, technically speaking, Cambridge could not have paid affiliation fees for 2019. To the best of my knowledge Cambridge have not paid affiliation for a number of years and thus are no longer affiliated members of AEBBA. Cambridgeshire were not proposed and accepted as new members at the 2018 AEBBA AGM. The AGM is the only time new members may be voted in. Closed AEBBA competitions are only open to paid up affiliated members!. Cambridgeshire failed one (possibly both) of those conditions in 2019.

Theres record on the forum of Cambridgeshire/Cambridge having paid for 2017, as indicated by someone called Chris and Chris has again wrote Cambridge have affiliated for 2018 also.
I'm understanding we paid but if there is outstanding payment please let me know and I'll bring up at our Captains Meeting in a fortnight's time.
We want to be affiliated and have been assuming we were. I've been trying to revive things down our end and advertising comps to people. We've had 3 players participate in aebba events in the last 3 to 4 years and I hope more for the future.
Feel free to PM me.

Fair comment, leaves a grey area on when membership lapses in the constitution as Cambridgeshire did not affiliate in 2018 according to the Treasurer.

There was confusion at our end about whether had paid for last year or not when we definitely had intended to.

I'm still waiting to hear back about whether we're paid up or not. There was a similar confusion with us, so I paid whilst at the AGM to cover either last year (if we still owed it) or this year (if we didn't).
