Heather will be doing sheet winners as normal. £5 to enter. Seek her out to do your entry. Thanks to Heather and Alfie for all their hard in doing the sheet winners. I was very pleased to win the prize. 21 correct selections out of 35 won the pot. Mr Tunstall a very unhappy runner up with 20 correct selections

Huge thanks to Graeme Le Monnier for your regular updates enabling us here on the Mainland to stay informed as to progress. Can only start to imagine the amount of work you have had to put in to ensure the smooth running of the World Championships. Will now sit back and hopefully read accounts from others of the dramas of the weekend.

Martin went first in the final but was off early after a whipped split. Kevin was first to get them back but was off quickly too after a missed 20 split. It took a little while but Martin first to get them back making a 10k break, which was the lead he took into the second leg.
Kevin made sure with his opening break in the second leg with plenty of 100 splits but the occasional 20 split making his way to 15k before touching to give him another world title.
Very well done to Kevin on winning and a massive well done to Martin on reaching his first final and performing so well after a shaky start.
Congratulations to Alan Brackenridge on winning the plate title beating Kyle Ingram in the final. It was a close affair with Alan keeping his nose in front throughout. Well done to both players in performing so well during the competition.
Thank you to all the hard working organisers who make the event possible.
