Hello Alan You are down Alan. I just haven't updated Dave on the subject. i threw the landlord of a pub and some players down on paper because if you recall we thought the 12 places would be gone in minutes when the entry forms came out. yes, I can be said to have been like Ze Germans by Ze pool! I resemble that remark!
So I can tell Dave now (as I did in a phone chat last night) 3. Cambridge - Matt Barnett, Ben Dobson, and then Alan Mee, Alison Prewett-Stansfield
Dave is amenable to last minute changes. I am not sure about the first two Dave as i can't get a straight answer but we will fulfil our place at the 4x4.
cheers
Taffy

I've ordered some special (weak) beer for sav Gary is happy to do breakfasts, not as cheap as spoons but sooo much better. It would be nice if we could give him an idea of numbers, so if you're tempted please let me know.
See you all in a few weeks

The plan for this Saturday is, the white horse will be open for breakfast from 9-30. It seems one local team has been forced to drop out, we are hoping to find enough players to make up a new team, so if anyone has any reserves coming along please let me know so we can put them in the new team. So far we have 1 local in, as some others are away on extended holidays we won't know about others until later in the week. If you're not coming early for breakfast can you please try to be here for 10-15ish as we would love to start at 10-30. Remember the white horse car park is at the rear and access is via the entrance, drive way situated beside chill inn/pizza town, opposite QD. See you all Saturday

Yep the rules will be the 4 pin rules used for the Specflue E A open.
Red always used when available. If a peg is moved from its spot but not knocked over it remains in its new position until the end of break. No mater what the sequence of events a player suffers the greatest penalty if a foul is committed. ie if a players knocks a peg covering the 50 hole over first and then the black peg in the same shot they suffer the greatest penalty and lose their entire score. Last ball off any cushion or cushions into ANY hole. I think they are the main differences.

Taffy, Steve is stuck in Turkey enjoying the sun, I can't edit his post and seems pointless doing a new one.
