Reigate Ex are playing their match tonight at SPCC and the plan is for the team to move to a different venue when possible

Old Oak 1, Merstham VC B 4
(in order played) Charlie lost to Geoff Rebecca lost to Terry Clive bt Bud Margo lost to Gary Margo (4 plyr) lost to Tony
Quercus very thin on the ground tonight, no Trotter, Snash, Budgie or Martin. Margo turning up on the off chance just to watch was fortuitous, enabling 5 games to be played. Last time she had to play twice she faced Jukes and Tinto, and each put 15k past her: At least Gary and Tony were more gentle on her tonight ! 12 points for us so far out of 25 is not bad considering the absenteeism blighting our team, in fact it's a minor miracle.

SPCC A 3 SPCC B 2
Vern 1690 Martin 8380 Laurie 4190 generate 2820 Junkie 4910 Pete 6570 John 11940 Denise 3290 Dave 12680 Mick 970
Vern with the break off early and handed the initiative to Martin who took advantage with a steady 6k break. A few more later and game over.
Laurie and Genette next with Gen making a good start and Laurie struggling a bit.A couple of breaks each made for a tense finish. Laurie playing out the last few minutes for the win 1 all.
Junkie and Pete on third Pete played some great steady stuff to take a big lead.Junkie getting the balls late on played the clock out but pete had enough in hand.
4th leg John and Denise.John opening with 6660 but Denise got the balls back and probably had time on her side. Off on 3ķ John got them back and played it out with another 5k.
Deciding leg Mick on and off Dave in no mood for any mistakes a couple of good breaks made 12k frame over for a good 3 2 win.
A lovely evening as always with the b's.
