Hello everyone,
The Northants Committee has made the difficult decision to postpone this event. We recognise that it is very popular with the wider Bar Billiards community as well as with our own players and so it will be a priority to secure a date for it to take place before the end of 2020. We have provisionally agreed an 'optimistic' date has been earmarked for 22nd November 2020 but we will confirm this a little later in the year as we further understand how external factors have progressed.
If you would like your paid entry fee refunded I am happy to help and make the necessary arrangements - please contact me. For those who have booked accommodation for this event, I'd urge you to cancel or rebook this as soon as possible to avoid any loss.
I'd like to thank everyone who entered this event and look forward to seeing you all at the rearranged event when it happens.

Hello All
We would like to make everyone aware that we had a committee meeting last night, which we discussed The Northants Open and The AEBBA 4 Pin which we had provisionally rescheduled for November.
It is with deep regret that we have decided to cancel both of these events this year as we do not feel it would be the right thing to do because of the Covid 19 virus. With The venue we use being The Cock Hotel we felt that Social distancing for that amount of people would not be possible.
We will be looking at holding a 3 & 4 Pin Open again next year on the 15th & 16th May 2021.
We have received entry money already from quite a few, now some people have already asked me to put it towards next years events and some people would like a refund. So if everyone could let me know what you would like doing and we shall sort it as quick as possible for you. We know that not everyone uses the forum so the rest we shall contact direct.
Please do not put any personal details on here, either pm or text me.
And The NBBA would like to wish everyone the best and keep safe, and we hope to see you all next year.

Hopefully its now looking possible that we can go ahead with our Open. It will be held again at The Cock Hotel in Northampton, 29/08/2021. We shall be meeting with Rob and Liz over the next few days to discuss any Covid restrictions, there is a possibility that we may have to restrict our entries to 32 for this year so we will be taking entries on a first come basis. After our meeting with The Cock Hotel last night, we have all agreed that we can increase numbers slightly for our Open.
Even though the restriction are being lifted, we will still take Covid in to consideration with Hand Sanitisers around the pub and masks will be available on request.
Please get your entries in as soon as possible.
