All correct, Tommo. 5pts. Now you just need Bing's role that he turned down. I will give you a clue. It was for a detective series.

Artists needed for Questions 7, 11, 16 11) Bing Crosby 16) Wham! 7) I thought it was Burl Ives, but Margo says it's by Gene Autry. 5) Shaky's 1985 Christmas hit was titled "Merry Christmas Everyone". 12) Slade's perpetual Christmas hit (in 1973,1982,1983,1985 to name but a few) is "Merry Xmas Everybody". 14) Wizzard's evergreen hit is called "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day". 18) Band Aid's hit (no matter what their persona) has always been "Do They Know It's Christmas ?" 20) Elton John's biggest Christmas hit = "Step Into Christmas".

Well done Tommo. Another 8 pts. Yes Bing Crosby was to be the original Colombo, but he turned down the role as it interfered with a golf tournament he wanted to play in. Question 7 you are thinking to hard at. The answer I want is a lot more recent.

Question 7 you are thinking to hard at. The answer I want is a lot more recent. Well, there was a version of White Christmas by Keith Harris and Orville :-[ :-[ in late 1985.
