Absolute hurricane here on top of the hill near Dover. Went out just before dusk and seven fence panels had popped out of their concrete posts, won't be short of kindling methinks! My poor frighted moggy is peering out at me, mewing plaintively, from behind the printer stand where he's been for ages!

Looking out the window this morning, ten fence panels gone and at least one sizeable tree down.
Not going out there until it quietens down some more

I've just been out in the back garden with Margo hoisting a panel and levering it back into the concrete post slots using a spade as a lever. Think I've got away with it, but I need to repair the top bit sometime.

Looking pretty dire in Dover again........... "Oxon carnage" here in Crawley: every wheelie bin in the next street blown over. Will the tommos' fence hold out ?

Awful here at the moment, just got back from Ashford where we had to go after much arguing with the NHS for the additional CT scan for Gill's fractured elbow and driving was terrible.
Two local roads closed with trees down had to be detoured around and several others partially blocking bigger roads.
Got back home and end ridge tile gone from the garage and the big tree behind the one in the picture down as well.
Poor petrified puss again, batten down now and hope the damage gets no worse.
