I have been contacted by Daniel from the Queens today to say that the Queens has been totally sold now.
They are going to refurbish the bedrooms and this starts asap.
So what does that mean for our weekend.... It Means that floors 3 and 4 are not available on the date of our event up to 54 rooms of 109 are not available.
So they are offering those people booked on those floors will have rooms in the Hotel Royale Best Western 4*.
All meals will be provided at the Queens. Transport will be available if required between the hotels. Let me know if you feel this would be wanted.
So whilst we knew this was coming, we did not really know when. Daniel will look after you all and ensures all he will make your stay great.
On a positive note by next year all of the Queens will be 4* and I am sure you will get great rates at least in 2021.
I did look at the rates of Best Western Royale and at this period a double was 171 no meals. Please be assured you will not pay anymore.

I am sorry but there is nothing I can do or Daniel can do the refurbishment is going ahead.

I know that Chrissie has approached the hotel to see if they can offer some flexibility in their cancellation policy but is yet to have a response - not surprisingly given the weekend, as soon as we know, you will know too. Do you know if Ian still plans to attend as it would be very good to find him an alternate partner if at all possible. D let me know. Lorin

Just to confirm - Chrissie has managed to negotiate a full refund for you which will be payable after the event has been completed.
