MVC B 4, Old Oak 1 Terry bt Clive Karl lost to Paul Tony (14k) bt Martin Geoff bt Rebecca Gary bt Charlie 1st game a tragi-comedy.....Terry lost 2k opener, me going great guns on just under 5k and thinking another 1k and I'll bank: tried to split either side of a peg and ploughed straight through it ! Terry kept me at bay from that point. In game 4 Jukesy similarly lost 4k in his opener but was able to recover against Rebecca who played some good shots and finished with more than me ! A nice table nonetheless as others were able to prove.

Spcc B 2 SpccA 3
Genette 5960 Laurie 3390 Pete 7090 Vern 6260 Martin 2150 Dave 11010 Mick 5570 John 8040 Denise 2810 Tracy 7460
Genette and Laurie up first. Genette off with 2k the game was very even with chances to both players. Genette next to get the balls back made sure with her next break 1-0.
Pete and Vern on next. Vern off with a steady 6k break unlucky to come off.Pete played well to get them back and a superb 7k was enough to chase down Verns score.2-0 we are in trouble!!!
DC and Martin, Dave on and off leaving the one up short gave Martin a chance. DC balls back and 8k break and another 3k sealed the win.
Game 4 John and Mick another great battle, Mick off with a useful 5k.John with the balls back a match winning 8k and touch. All square 2-2.
Deciding frame battle of the ladies Denise and Tracy. A good even battle with Denise playing catch up all the time. Tracy made a brilliant 5k break to complete the comeback and a wonderful win.
A cracking derby match and a lovely evening with the b's could have gone either way .
