Message from the Chairman on behalf of the Suffolk Bar Billiards Association.
Evening everyone.
I did say I was proposing to hold a conference call this Friday, but now I believe that given the current actions by the government we have no option but to postpone the event.
We are looking through the AEBBA diary to find an alternative date.
I know we are all disappointed in this turn of events, but I am sure we can hold a very special event, incorporating the 4x4 and world open in one weekend later in the year.
Kind regards
Jeremy

Thank you Chris that is very generous and likewise thank you to other people who have indicated the same wish
I did infact get an email from SARS this morning which I have pasted below
Hi Dave
I thought this may happen what a pity as it’s always such a great event!
we are currently on track to lose 50% of our income from cancelled fundraisers. We are still responding and going out to numerous incidents so need the funds to continue. Amazingly our clinicians are still volunteering for us in their time off despite their massive workloads in the hospitals – amazing people!!
Take care and keep well.
All good wishes
Sue

Yeh, Dave, take my entry fee as a SARS donation too. Have sent my raffle stubs/money off to Del Atton and urge others to do the same.
Hope to see you in tractor-land in September....
Keep well, tommo

Sav I would of been looking forward to meeting you on my way home from work and you were penciled in to play tonight in our second leg of the KO cup first round. It should of been played at the brewery tap so im sure you would of been sampling the black adder amongst the many other real ales they'd of had on tap.
Oh well early bank hol in August is a possible date for the white horse house KO

So,,,, we should of been out setting up 8 bar billiards tables but instead I'm sitting at home drinking cans of John Smiths that were meant for milko and the really sad thing is it's only just gone noon.
I suppose I should be grateful I didn't wake up with a hangover this morning, Im sure if things had gone to plan both Allan and Sav would of been here last night and made me drink far too much beer
Stay safe everyone

By the time this lot is over i will have at least 4 tables ready for Ebay plus the bar skittles I am refurbing a NARROW E J Riley at the moment ...............it was 30 - 29 - 10 - 20 - 30 and the side makers were 100 - 50 - 50 -100 ........NO 200 ?? The peg/mushroom positions are marked on the table as in the pictures ?? It will not look like this very soon !!!

That's a nice bit of kit to work on Alan. Interestingly configured by the guy who sold it to you: two x 100 holes as you mentioned, two white pegs on the 3-pin spots and a huge D in a mirror image of where it should be !
Good to see you're keeping busy, and looking forward to seeing the finished product. Rgds tommo

Alan that is an interesting pin layout and one I am sure Steve and myself will be trying out when we are allowed to.
So its the morning of the open and once again no hangover which can't be bad.
