Saw a BT Openreach van parked opposite two days ago and its engineer was fiddling about with the green box that houses all the cables.
Haven't been able to get a dialling code on our landline since. But our Broadband is working okay and we are convinced the fault lies outside, not inside the house.
Ever tried reporting a fault to call a BT Engineer out ?
These days not a simple case of "phone this number, Engineer will call, you may have to pay".
It's taken me 30 minutes of trawling round the minefield which is BT.com and then a further hour on my mobile phone where I was put on hold several times and subjected to the latest trends in music.
Eventually I was put through to Peter from Belfast who booked us a visit but we are in a queue so he wouldn't be able to say when. I was in passing instructed on the latest measures in force to combat Covid-19.
All because some w*nker probably dislodged a cable in the box: BT really are a pile of poo, aren't they ?
