6) Swiss cheese so Switzerland.
17) Hock == German plonk,
Moselle is probably relating to Germany as well (and some very good) but I visited a vineyard in Luxembourg on the Moselle on a classic motorcycle tour a few years ago. I was leading one group and a guy called Alan was leading another bunch of Brits, we both got lost and passed each other travelling in opposite directions three times with each of our flock of ducklings following on behind (map was wrong). Raised a good laugh in the bar that evening.
10) A drink related question and I don't know the answer and Daves not been here either.
9) raisins 'erself tells me are from grapes

Did you ever get to try Fiery Fred Cheddar from Goulds? You're harking back to our Somerset visit.....we had a Ploughmans at the Queen Vic (Priddy) but I think it was with Stilton. The cheese shop we visited a few years earlier was in Sturminster Newton in Dorset and we bought a huge block of mature cheddar back with us. Favourite at the moment is Wensleydale with Cranberries.

Fiery Fred was mentioned at last years E A Open barbilliards.proboards.com/thread/21286/specflue-ea-pin-open-2019?page=4I thought you might have sought it out since. I have a supply from just before the lockdown that stinks every time I open the fridge. Goulds (Batch Farms) do farmers markets but you will not find Fiery Fred in a supermarket.
