Ric Bithell reported on our RBS account, which is due to be closed down in the near future, RBS is required by government regulations to close some of their accounts and transfer them to other banks, in our case there are 2 possible banks that can take on the LBBL account, Metro bank and the co-op, there is a possibility that LBBL may receive a transfer bonus of up to £1250 from RBS, as there is a fast reducing funding amount set aside to complete this transfer operation, so it was essential to complete the transfer asap or possibly lose this transfer bonus. Following discussion the committee voted and unanimously agreed the make arrangements for the transfer with Metro bank, Ric will lead and resolve asap.
