I can't remember exactly were I saw it Clive.
It was one with a list of previous winners to present day - think it was on the AEBBA site?

You are down as 'Toner' in 75 and 76 on the old site data, whether there are any AEBBA master records I doubt. Runner-up is missing in 76,77 & 78 in those stats, so did you beat Viv again in 76?.
The ladies names all appear to be their latest known married name (Viv is Wright throughout).

Chris
I first won it about 72 73 74 75 twice, she was not Viv Sheppard then ?
I need to look up some old photos and check.
Thanks Chris

I'll sort it for you on the Timeline when I get a moment, Chrissie, but see the restoration of the AEBBA site by others as a greater priority !

There are mentions of Indoor League elsewhere on the Forum and it would be nice if one day they could be consolidated.............
But meanwhile Taffy has come up with this find, which I don't think we've seen before:
(the bar billiards starts at 24:50)
The match featured shows Redhill's John Peters beating Tunbridge Wells's John Baker in an exciting (1975) final by 4200-3050.

I remember skipping school to watch my favourite player JP a gentleman of the game. Great memories

Sadly I have to admit to having played on indoor league. Players were invited from all counties.
I travelled to Leeds ( I believe we stayed at the Dragonara, it was also filmed in the hotel, had a casino as part of the ground floor ) with the men's Hampshire IKO winner Tony Mayhead, driven by a chap called Alan, forgotten his surname.
It was timed breaks hence scores were low.
I remember that Fred Truman would arrive with two Alsatians/German Shepherd dogs.
The hospitality was excellent, travel, accommodation, free bar and food !!

I have recently researched "Indoor League" and pulled everything together on one web page:
To ease future visits, I have also added this as the spare page on the Horsham website.
