Well I last played the Jersey Open in 1982 and I didn't play any better then..... Thanks again Nigel, great job.....even though you consistently ignore my obvious talent in your 'algorithms'!! Tony

Thanks once again Nigel, if I keep entering my form MUST improve surely.
One suggestion though, how about entering all previous winners into each open even if they dont do the forum, it was really strange to see Jersey without Trevor Gallienne for instance

Thanks guys, I am sure Curt did us proud on the virtual karaoke.
Take your point Bernie in that it would have been nice to have some more Jersey names in there, i did think of putting some allstar names into the virtual events to start with but was happy with the number of entries without. I think by at least not putting in the allstars has given a good mix of names in the events.
So this will be the last tournament counting towards the Grand Prix, see the qualifiers on the different thread. I will though run a virtual All England Singles (and Ladies Singles) so you qualify out of your own county to make the finals. Then we will have the Grand Prix for those lucky qualifiers over Xmas. Then fingers crossed we might play some real bar billiards next years.
Thanks again for all your comments, hope it has provided I bit of fun

I think Curt is likely to be more pleased than me if he won a World Championship virtual or otherwise But I promise I wouldn't boo if he won the real thing Sadly though in the virtual world I was not impressed with him defeating one of my favourite people in the final Great job as always from Nige but losing to Stoner when the Plate was there for the taking - well done Kev
