Unfortunately Mark James has had to withdraw.
As I say ideally 32 in a good number now so lets try to get another 3 in.

Well I think I have exhausted the Wycombe entries - just can't seem to get anymore.
Come on people - last tournament of the season, good practice for Jersey, good food, very cheap beer and a nice venue.
One last push for two people to make life easy for Nigel.

Congratulations to Nigel on winning the competition yesterday, also to Rick for winning the Plate Competition. A big thank you to Nigel, Matt and Jean for all of their hard work organising and running the competition, Matt Jones for setting the tables up and everyone who helped to put the tables up and then take them down at the end of the competition. Thank you also to the Totteridge Club for hosting the event and keeping us all well fed and watered during the day.

A well run competitive day and well done to Nigel and my buddy Rick on their respective wins.
The club is a great venue and we are always made to feel so welcome. Well done to Matt Jones on setting up the tables. Thanks to Nigel the tournament director and to those that were helping on the admin desk. Overall not too much problem with scorers so thanks to all that stepped up. Well done to Dawn for pushing to get so many local entrants and last but not least to those who did the physical work erecting and dismantling tables.

As promised a bit more detail about yesterday Group Winners/Runners-Up (1) Matt Knight/Jason Neal (2) Curt Driver/Ray Hussey (3) Mark Trafford/Chris Tupper (4) Joe Oakley/Stuart Carruthers (5) Simon Coleman/Ian Lelliott (6) Dave Ingram/Don Cook (7) Matt Jones with incredible aggregate score of over 73k and the highest break of the day of 18k v WC doubles partner Cliff! /Tony Jenner (8) Nigel Senior who won the two leg shoot out with /John Slee as they ended up with only two in their group All the other players went into the plate, which, as previously mentioned was won by Rick Cunningham, well done to him and to Joe Elleson who was leading after the first leg but Rick pulled away in the second leg for a fairly comfortable win, Joe having to settle for runner-up. Rick beat John Kitson in his semi-final and Joe beat Kyle Ingram in the other (a good day for the Ingrams but, Dave reported afterwards they had both been "woeful" in the semi-finals) In the main Nigel lost an 11k break in his break game missing a ball off the side cushion, Traff took a 3k lead into his break game but never looked particularly comfortable and Nigel took his opportunity when the chance presented itself for a first title in the All England Off the Spot - Mark revealed afterwards it was his third second placed finish in this competition, surely he won't be long in winning it - well done to both players on reaching the final. In the semi-finals Mark narrowly beat John Slee, who performed well again (and narrowly beat me again....) In the other semi-final Nigel defeated Dave Ingram, who had played well in getting to the semi-final A few thank yous to end with, none of the All England events would have been possible this year without the support from the Totteridge Club and the incredible amount of work put in by both Nigel Senior for all the formats and organising of the competitions and Matt Jones, Matt was ably assisted by Cliff Slade. Matt reported that the Club is not the easiest place to set up tables, they do seem to get more difficult as the day goes on but nothing should detract from his hard work, quite simply there would have been no competitions without him. Thanks to Jean for assisting me on the admin desk yesterday as we gave Nigel a break so he could concentrate on playing and to Dawn for her efforts in getting players for the comps. Thank you to everyone who has contributed by scoring extra games, special mention yesterday to Tony Jenner, Ian Lelliott and Pauline Withey for all the extra matches they did. Finally thank you to everyone who went the extra mile in arriving early and staying late to assist setting up or taking down the tables, special mention yesterday to Kyle Ingram and Stuart Carruthers who helped Jonesy with the heavy lifting. Let's hope for a cracking Jersey

Morning all. I know it's been said by many of you that made it totteridge on Sunday but I thought I Would chip in with a few words. What a great day it was from the ladies and gents on the food and bar, to Nige and the admin Gang to Matt and Cliff a terrific job. And as TJ said well done Dawn and the Bucks people Who rallied round to play on the day. On a personal playing note I was so pleased with my own game and perhaps if I had taken a late chance Aagainst Mark may have made the final. Last but not least l would like to thank Matt for letting me off the hook again!!

Chuffed to win this for the first time on Sunday, hard luck to Mark in the final, was fearing the worst when i lost the 11k but fortunately another couple of chances came my way (and I took one of them)
Thanks particularly to Matt for the round up and his help (with Jean) especially after the quarter finals.
And thanks to John Slee who gave me a a pot of his green chilli jam. I had it with a couple of poppadoms. It was lovely and definitely had a bit of a kick!
