Ellis 1070 Bob 6360 Ellis started with a 2.4k break and unfortunately left a ball in the middle and Bob took advantage. Doug 3930 Stu 4130 A game that neither player wanted to win , Stu scrambled over the line clearing up with the bar down. Kev 5840 Jim 3840 A couple of breaks from me both kept going with extremely fortunate shots in the middle. Zoe 1670 Kev 5950 Both struggled early on but Kev got going to take the win. Ash 1910 Grant 5640 Nice opener from Ash but Grant was the stronger.
Lovely evening with Stag , good catch up with Kev and Sandra , nice pasta bake and sandwiches to finish the evening.

The Wellie took the honours at the New Oak, chances in every leg, maybe a few players put off by the loud ladies meeting at the other end of the room
In leg 1, Marc 'whatever you do dont put me on first with the break' Chipman proceeded to peg his opening 2k or so. Marc then got the balls back only to peg another 3k. Colin would not refuse the gift handed to him.
Leg 2, this leg ebbed and flowed, Dave off early, Ian then making 3k. Dave came back and took the lead, but Ian got the balls back leaving the one up short 2k in front. This left Dave enough time to nick the win.
Leg 3 Mick started well making 5k, I got the balls back 2nd try and made 8k to keep the match alive.
Leg 4 Bob couldnt quite live up to his exploits in the last couple of weeks and got Tuppered.
Leg 5 KT doesnt normally miss here so we were surprised when he hit the first split fat and miss both balls. PO was in no mood to let Kt off the hook and slammed in just shy of 10k.
Most serious forum user 2004/05 You know that look women get when they want sex? Me neither. "Spiderpig, spiderpig, does whatever spiderpig does. Can he swing from a web? No he can't he's just a pig. Look out here is the spiderpig" Homer Simpson, 2007
Joe 2260 - 3700 Dover** - good leg from Paul, not so good from Joe (no fume from the captain) Matt 6060 - 430 Stuart Matthews** - after the woeful performance from the home team in leg 1, captain was brilliant in leg 2 (not so good in Jersey) James 3450 - 680 Lorraine** - fun leg to watch, James doing his Dad proud with a nice win
Raised a glass to Derek at this point, hopefully he would have approved
TJ 9700 - 1200 Pete** - Pete always dangerous but he left both balls short on the opening break and that was a big mistake as the Jenneral continued his good form (old timer 1 winning) Rick 9310 - 1230 Bucks** - Bucks off early, Rick just kept getting more and more but decided to let TJ get the highest score of the night (old timer 2 winning)
Very enjoyable night in good company - our chief supporter (Beckster) enjoyed the pizzas
