Brighton A 4-3 Worthing A
**Grant Tully 11,910 - 1110 Roger Taylor - excellent 10k and touch from GT to start the night
Phil Osborne 8500 - 7270 Joe Oakley** - Joe going very well 7k+ but miscue on the one up let Phil in and he 50/10d his way to victory, with the fist pump at the end knowing the significance of the win
Chris Tupper 4530 - 11,720 Mike Daw** - Mike off on 3k+, Tupps gave himself a chance but couldn't take it, Mike nice second break for the win
**Kevin Hall 9780 - 3610 Kevin Tunstall - KH off on nearly 3k, balls were awkward for a while until KH made excellent clearance and then solid 7k for a pressured win
Bob Hall 370 - 8150 Stuart Mepham** - Stu made a nice 5.5k, Bob going well but left a tricky ball and pegged - Stu finished off
Matthew Knight 5230 - 9620 Martin Smith** - Nice 9k opener from Martin, I finished off
**Jim Millward 15,630 - 1460 Terry Molloy - no better man for the decider, Jim going off with 9.5k, with some great recovery shots, settling down after a tricky start to give us the win
Excellent win for the hosts, pivotal game clearly the second with Joe an unfortunate miscue which Phil took advantage of and then Kev and Jim winning the pressure legs with the break. Enjoyable night as always

First up Rich and Tony. Rich on first and off surprisingly soon gave skipper an early opportunity. Not to be and the game
Became scrappy with plenty of goes. Tony eventually getting the balls back and made a steady 3k. With time against him
Rich got a break but all to late. One against the break.
Game 2 Bryan and Geoff. Geoff off leaving the one up hanging over the 50 gave Bryan a good chance. Bryan also off soon
Geoff balls back and no mistake this time 9k and touch.
Needing to get leg back maybe forced Paul against Dave. With the break and in terrific form Dave kept going to make 9k break
with several recovery shots. This left Paul up against it and he ran out a quickfire 6k.
3-0.
Mid match and Ian against yours truly. Ian off with a faultless 8500 gave me no time and I was happy to play it out
For just under 5. The rot stopped.
Next up Gary and Fitz. Gaz in a bit of form lately made a very good 7k giving Fitz just a squeak but Gary first to get them
back and another 5k and they shook hands. Cue high fives and fist pumps. Game and match.
Colin and Martin on 6 and Colin carrying on our good start off with 5k. A few more shots and with Martin struggling Col
Got the balls back and another 6k and frame over. 5-1.
Last but not least Curt and DC. Curt off surprisingly early gave Dave a chance but to no avail, as two very good breaks got
A leg back and top score of the night.
Well "The Fat Lady really sang tonight ". Without doubt that was our finest all round team performance of the season.
Congratulations to Brighton on winning and Tunbridge wells on runner up in a terrific competitive interleague as the
Final table will show.
Hopefully catch up with you Brighton Boys soon all those lovely beers I can taste them now 🤣🤣

Will that mean Worthing `A` team is relegated ??? Probably not as West Sussex was pulled out of the league so they would be the team going down if they came back in, but I maybe wrong |

As we do every year the formation of the home & away inter league divisions will be discussed at the AGM when the number of teams entering are known.
