Reigate Ex 1, Old Oak 4 (in order played) Ian (730) lost to *Paul (4420) *Barry (830) lost to Clive (7870) Bobbie (470) lost to *Nick (950) Les (3520) beat *Charlie (2020) Ian (4-plyr) (1010) lost to *Martin (7010)
Game 1: steady stuff from Paul, Ian BP'd on a straight shot up the middle when desperately trying to clear the table. Game 2: Barry making the early running, I only got going on my third visit. Game 3: Bobbie a nice red in the 200 early on, which unfortunately she didn't keep; then a profusion of pegs from both players until Nick fell over the line. Game 4: a game of two halves - Charlie built a 1500 lead, then Les got the break back and finished at a canter. Game 5: a commanding performance from our captain, nothing going for Ian until a last-ball 200.
A pleasant evening, and a nice table to play on.

Nomads 3-2 Salfords B
Michael* 9770 - 490 Tom Jim 1140 - 6370 *Dave Richard 4150 - 430 *Pete JP* 2380 - 2830 Caroline Joe 11170 - 1010 *John
An evening of mostly one-sided games started with Michael racing out of the blocks with a 6k break and game one was already over. Dave then took his opportunities despite not quite getting to grips with the table before Richard chalked up his highest score of the year so far to leave the Nomads 2-1 up. Caroline survived a late rally from JP to take the game to a decider but Joe got the break early and cruised off into the night with 4 & 5 grand breaks giving him the highest total of the evening and bringing the Nomads over the line to secure a fourth win out of five in 2022.

Spcc B 3 Spcc A 2
Pete 7790 Laurie 2940 Genette 6010 Dave 2930 Denise 5670 Tracy 1140 Mick 3090 John 9930 Martin 2790 Vern 4430
First up Pete and Laurie..Pete off with only 2k gave Laurie a good early chance. One poor choice Of shot Loz off and Pete in. A break of 3k and a good lead for Pete. Laurie struggling but did manage To score a few. Pete playing well got the balls back again and a few more was enough.
Dc and Genette up next. Dave on but pegged a split and gave Gen a great chance . Genette like Pete playing Steady and well built up a good lead. Another poor shot and Genette was in again. Dave eventually got Them back all too late for a consolation few.
Game 3 and a ladies match Denise and Tracy. Tracy on and off early just what we didn't need. Denise next to get the balls back and 4k break put her in control . A few goes each and a few more for Den was enough. 3 nil down and in big trouble.
Me and Mick on fourth and Mick with the break. Mick starting well off with 3k giving me a bit to do. One good clearance gave me my chance. Nearly 7k and touch put me in control .A further last 3k and our 1st leg on the board.
Last but not least Martin and Vern. Vern on Vern off potting them 4 times for the second week running!! Luckily Martin Wasn't having much luck as well . Eventually Skipper got the hang of things and made a break to take the frame.
Out of jail for the second week running on our own table.
A lovely evening with the b's on our south park derby. The b team deservedly taking the honours followed by a nice spread from the girls.
