Old Oak 2, SPCC B 3 *Clive 3700, Denise 2190 *Nick 1190, Genette 1350 (last ball win) Paul 1970, *Pete 3130 *Charlie 580, Mick 4340 *Martin 2970, Denise (4plyr) 2110
Table not its normal self tonight, a post-match investigation revealed it was slightly out of place: This made the break difficult, and several scores were lost by taking out the right hand peg. Well done to the visitors anyway for their win, especially as they only had one of the five breaks.

Horley CC 1-4 Nomads
Aaron 1930-2080 *Abbey Roland 1560-5980 *Michael Chris* 2780-1350 Jim Benny* 1330-4700 Richard Nev* 460-8500 Joe
A big win for the Nomads could be key in the fight to remain in Division 1.
Opening up Aaron and Abbey played an extraordinary match in which the uphill table kept sucking balls into the 100 and 200 hundred from the top cushion. Abbey made a crucial 800 break as the bar went leaving her with just enough of a margin to secure the victory.
Next up Michael raced away from Roland before breaking down prematurely just before the 3k mark. Both players then struggled to get the balls back but it was Michael who managed to do it with a few minutes left on the clock to seal a comfortable victory.
Next up Chris took on Jim. Chris built a small advantage from his break that Jim tried to chip away at but without enough success. In the end Chris held his lead quite comfortably to pull a frame back for Horley.
Next up Benny and Richard took to the baise and it was Richard who stole the show, a scintillating performance was such that he barely put a foot wrong in racking up a personal season high score.
Finally Nev and Joe faced off, but this was a game where Joe was trying to have a crack at the neutral table high score. Michael had previously had a shot at the neutral high break, but Joe got much closer to the honours board by getting the break back on three separate occasions, but he fell a couple of thousand short of the target.
So Nomads came out as strong victors in what could be an important match in the fight for the top 6. With just three games to go the identity of the top 6 is far from set in stone.

Spcc A 5 Salfords B 0
John 9300 Dave 5390 Vern 10600 Tom 1900 Dave 5390 Pete 3080 Junkie 5490 John 1130 John 8270 Caroline 3480 (John 4 plyr )
First up Dave my Surrey teammate and me. A crucial opening game with fortunately my break and head down I 100 split My way to 9300 break and touch. Just a single go each and Dave got them back and a pretty faultless 5k played the rest of the bar.
Game 2 Vern and Tom. Tom off early gave Vern a good chance and a cracking 8k and touch sealed the frame.A few more later and 10 grand for the captain (the Vern off old back)
Third on DC and Pete. Pete off early but Dave couldn't get going. A few more goes each and Dave got them back and made 5 k break. Time running out Pete made a consolation 2k.
4th up Junkie and John and a scrappy start with plenty of goes and chances for both. Junkie next to get them back and a well grafted 4k break was enough to take the leg.
Last but not least Myself and Caroline (under 4 player rule ). Caroline leaving the one up short gave me a good chance . 5k break and off gave me a good lead. Caroline next to get the balls back and made a nice 2500 break. A few more goes and time enough to add a few more.
A lovely evening as always with the Salfords B and a cracking result for us. Still makes it an interesting last few weeks. Our Bs play Mvc b tomorrow which should be a cracker then who knows!!!
