I've taken a count of nine already and am about to be counted out............. The most famous tag wrestler I can recall to mind was Adrian Street, but he hails from Wales. And Mick McManus was born in London. Rikki Starr was a naturalised German, so the only one left for me to guess at - and I have no idea of his home town - is Marc "Rollerball" Rocco.

Thanks Ken for a great and enjoyable quiz. The wrestling used to be compulsive viewing on Saturday afternoons back in the sixties - and on Wednesday nights too if my memory serves. My favourites were Kendo Nagasaki who always used to start by taking a pummelling and then bravely he'd fight back and usually get the decision. I also liked to see Rikki Starr twirling about in his ballet shoes :-[ and I seem to recall a wrestling Red Indian who was Brave (if you'll pardon the pun). Then there were the dirty ones like Mick McManus who'd do stuff blind side of the referee and Cry Baby Breaks who I always enjoyed seeing get beaten.
So you had five bouts yourself : was this under your title Wolfman ? I'm afraid my blossoming career was cut short at school as a 13-year-old when I got over-enthusiastic in P.E. and executed a perfect stomach throw on a classmate: He flipped over in mid air and missed the mat, but landed okay - fortunately for us both - as it was pointed out to me that he could have broken his back due to my senseless action. Wrestling was banned in P.E. after that. :-[ :'(

Clive, I had 3 bouts in 1982, under the promotions of 'The Star Who Presents The Stars', who was Jackie Mr TV Pallo himself. One bout with Ken Flash Knight, the other 2 with Steve Young. A couple of years later Steve went on to tag with Dave Finlay under the name of Skull Murphey. I was living in Epsom at the time and had just started working for B.R. and could not spare the time to get to Brighton 5 days a week to train, so I had to give it in.
