Results 29th. March.
Henty A 4 - 2 BLEP.
Singles wins for Declan Dynes, Bill Harrison and Graham Lewis teed up the win for the home team, Simon Chant replying for the legionnaires in what overall was a moderate scoring contest.
Locomotive B 1 - 5 Prince of Wales.
Steve Beach, Dave Ingram and Barry Holt won their singles for the Prince with a good result for the boy's player, Mel Petit. The match result as reported earlier by Mr Ingram, possibly did not do justice to the Boys as some of the close run games could have gone their way instead.
Vine Tarring 4 - 2 Locomotive A.
A low scoring contest, home singles wins for Brian Richards, Phil Oakley and Colin Green with league stalwart Dave Hampton coming good for the wheeltappers. A result which ensures the Vine will finish this season in runners up spot. Their final league game is a trip to champions Henty B.
White Hart 1 - 5 Alexandra.
Dave Stone for the Hart won the opening game but then singles wins by Chris Cox, Dave Jones and Tony Molloy set things up for a win for the visitors. Chris Cox continues his good recent form to put him in contention to become this season's individual merit champion.
Open Date: Henty B.
Two other games were played since the last weekly update; rearranged from postponements earlier on in the season.
Alexandra 4 - 2 Locomotive A.
BLEP 5 - 1 Prince of Wales. A result which sees the BLEP becoming Section B winners.

An intriguing finale to this season's competition. Ian Lelliott had an open date fixture last week but remains in top spot on 32 pts. Chris Cox has had a good run of late and capitalised by winning each of his games in hand to take him into second spot on 31 pts. Ian has a home game to finish off with and depending on the draw if successful will gain a minimum of 1 pt. Chris on the other hand will be against the break and if he is successful he will gain an extra 2 pts. If both players finish on the same points then the highest average aggregate will decide the winner. Stuart Mepham is currently on 29 pts. in 3rd. place and will finish in thet position whatever his result.
Simon Chant is the top B section Player on 13 pts. in overall 19th.
On completion of the final week of fixtures - to be played April 19th., the top 16 qualifiers for next season's Masters tournament will also be determined.
