Marvelous day again at Sudbury. Thank you to all who made it possible. Not sure that Mr Lillee is entirely accurate about this 'beer and more beer' insinuation though. Makes it sound as if we're all a bunch of drunks out playing a pub game and having a good time!
By the way...can anyone help me down from this blasted lamp post?

Another great day and yes indeed Worthing Wallies + 1 managed too win the tournament for a 2nd time. A fun day and the tables all offered different challenges. Thank you to J from the White Horse pool team for stepping in to make our 4th player and he was very instrumental in our win as he only lost one leg all day. Thank you to Mal Spier and Rick Cunningham for being great team mates and I think the 4 of us not only won but certainly held our own in the drinking stakes. Bad luck to Northampton who we overcame in the final and for making the final great fun and a laugh, hope you go home ok.
Off course thank you to all those who made the event happen and a fitting tribute I believe to Chris Cass who was a very humble, gentle man who did so much for bar billiards in Sudbury.

Gillian has asked me to send her thanks to everyone.
It also gives me great pleasure to say that although it was never our intentions to use the weekend to raise money for charity we did actually raise £180 for SARS, £80 from the blind doubles £73 from the speed challenge plus a donation from the speed challenge winner James Baker who kindly gave back £27 of his winnings.
It is also great that following the weekend we already have 5 paid up entries for next year's 4 pin World championship

Hi all
Absolutely cracking weekend as always in Sudbury with all our friends in Suffolk. A great fun Blind Doubles run by Alan Mee on
Friday night to kick things off. A terrific team 4x4 on Saturday split into 2 groups of 5 teams, with some close games eventually
Ending with Worthing Wallies beating the Northampton Lads. Games played in great spirit and fun thanks to Dave, Steve, Brett,
Alan and the Sudbury gang. Loads of Billiards, loads of good beer loads of fun. Great to catch up with Sav who ended up my doubles
Partner . Lovely to play in same side as Gillian Cass ( She had a great time and presented the trophies Sat night ).
Still can't believe TJ won both competitions .
Looking forward to next March ,can't wait.

I just tried to show someone your excellent YouTube files on a smartphone, and the links didn't work.
I reckon 80% of our Forum clientele use a tablet/smartphone, I am in the minority who use a PC or Laptop (so no problem for me)
