Stags Head 2-3 Blue Anchor Jim Millward 2460 - 10,770 Mike Daw Bob Hall 3060 - 4610 Chris Cox Stuart Mepham 6610 - 3780 James Whittle Grant Tully 15,200 - 0 Joe Oakley Dave Ingram 4700 - 8040 Matthew Knight Competitive final which lacked a little in quality, with a few surprising misses. Very well done to Grant on running the table out in leg 4, high quality break, even when getting out of position a couple of times he recovered brilliantly All other legs needing a couple of goes to make sure, we took advantage of getting the break back first to secure our 3 winning legs. Thought TJ was sunning himself with a 30oz sirloin but he made an appearance in leg 2 with Coxy "winning" the leg on 3 occasions before deciding to wind the captain up Very enjoyable night in excellent company with lots of laughs and good natured banter. The League champions could not do the double as the Blue Anchor "Bandits" were worthy winners on the night Thanks to the New Oak for hosting and to Alan for sorting the table out. Thanks to the drivers for getting everyone home safely in the storm

Congratulations to the Blue Anchor last night in winning the team cup. A strange game with only Grant playing the table well but the Blue getting the balls back more than the Stag. Good night with plenty of banter. I am sure Matt will post the scores soon

Congratulations to Matt and all the lads at the Blue Anchor. They thoroughly deserved the win and were the best team on the night. Thanks to Alan and Jean for setting up a good table and for the New Oak for hosting with a nice curry.
