In terms of food on Saturday there will be no hot food available at the club. We have organised a buffet of sandwiches which will be available from around 2pm. Will be looking for voluntary donations towards the cost from those who would like to eat these.

Congratulations to Kevin Hall who won the Sussex Masters today beating Rick Cunningham in the Final. Kev played well all day and also won the highest break with 19,800 in his quarter-final win over Barry Holt, who had set him a target of 17k+. Losing semi-finalists were Nigel Senior and Ricky Dewdney. Dave Ingram recovered from a slow start to the day to win the Plate beating Derek Taylor in the Final. Thank you to Matt Knight for doing the shouting, organising scorers and doing the presentation and to Nigel Senior for helping with the admin. Thank you to Stuart Mepham, Tony Jenner and James Whittle for getting the tables into the venue on Friday night and to Stuart for adjusting the tables this morning. Thank you to the Roffey Club for hosting us and to Junkie Miller's mum, Jean, who supplied the buffet. Thank you to Bob Osborne, Sandra Hall and John Slee who all scored matches despite not playing. Finally thank you to everyone for attending and making it a very enjoyable day. Apologies to anyone who I have missed. Definitely not as organised as Jean in running these events; we need to stop her from going on holiday during these events again!! Full results on the Sussex Website scbba.co.uk/masters/masters-2022/

A big thank you to Stuart Carruthers for all his hard work helping with tables getting in to the venue, helping set them up and doing the Admin on the day. Well run and tables all different meaning you needed to adapt and use the old grey matter. Stuart going to have along weekend as he will be Admin for the Sussex Open today and it would be nice to see a good number of people staying to help get the tables down and onto the van.
