Hi all,
Start time for Sunday will be 11am for 11.30 start
Draws will be done on Thursday night to help with formatting and starting promptly.
Matt Jones has told me he can get there Saturday to set up so will be setting up Sunday morning.
He could do with some help, so if any people can get there early on Sunday to assist that will help us start on time.
Essentially we will only be able to start when we have all tables setup and ready to play, if Matt ends up doing it all on his own we may have to start late

Good luck to the Prince of Wales representing Sussex today - was hoping to be there to support you but have the man flu and not willing to risk coughing and spluttering around other people.

Well done to the Prince of Wales winning the National Team Championships today, they won by just a single point from the Tunbridge Wells Constitutional Club who they beat 3-2 in the round robin and that put them in the driving seat and they made no mistake by keeping in front The team excellently led by captain Martin Cole, also playing Chris Cox, Dan Wheal, Barry Holt and the unbeatable Joe Oakley (won 4 out of 4 with the best average of the other 2 players who won 4 namely Curt Driver and Colin Robbins). Also great support from family and friends and the brilliant landlord Colin Never to be forgotten journey home, very loud and raucous in pouring rain with the tunes blaring out, great day Enjoy it guys, you've got a very tough game at the Stag Thursday night, where you've never won I am sure Nigel will add other reports but well done to Jean Brackenridge on winning the special ladies and Genette Nicholls and John Slee on winning the mixed pairs, and thanks to Nigel for all his hard work with the formats and running the day like clockwork despite 3 competitions taking place on one day, an incredible effort Thanks to Matt Jones for sorting the tables out as always
