Important news. I now id3ntify as Jemima. Im proud to now hold the div B Ladies high home score. I would like to point out.... And indeed stress.... that a certain Micharl Wilson was in control of my mobile for the last, apparent, post from me. It was not, & despite the various colours available, you can be sure that I am more than happy to be straight and a fella!

Old Oak 2, Salfords Y 3 *Nick 2110, Sue 3210 *Charlie 1220, Anita 4240 Paul 8130, *Neville 940 Clive 5350, *Karen 1890 Martin 2340, *Fritz 3350
A first defeat of the season for Nev but he can't have any complaints! The last-game decider was close: Martin was on the table at the right time and needed a 2k break to snatch victory. Unfortunately, he pulled up 600 short and Fritz was able to finish off.

Nomads | 1 | v | 4 | Merstham VC B | Michael* | 6980 | - | 4090 | Geoff | Jim | 0 | - | 5050 | *Bud | JP* | 2270 | - | 3190 | Tony | Will* | 820 | - | 3310 | Gary | Abbey* | 1770 | - | 4750 | Colin |
The game of the night came first up as Michael and Geoff faced off and after his magnificent last outing on his home table Michael got complacent by leaving a one-up short after only 1k. Geoff cleared the table and started steadily accumulating but came unstuck after 3k. Michael managed to get the break back next and added 3k to take a slender lead, but after that it was a case of who could get the last break and seal the deal. Thankfully for the Nomads it was Michael who added another 2k and tap to win. 1-0. Jemima Balchin was up next but she failed to set any more records. Bud took his time to work out the tables pace but when he did he cruised to victory. 1-1. Next up the undefeated JP gave Tony a really run for his money - Tony added 2k from the only time he got the break back and felt relieved that the bar went while JP was on the table knocking the break shot in quite happily. 1-2. Fourth on Gary and Will entertained us all and Gary's sporting 2k and touch made for an eventful match and some hilarity at the random score generation that seemed to be going on. 1-3. Finally Abbey made a strong start against Colin, leading by about a k, but Colin pulled through to make it over the line and complete a dominant victory for the visitors. 1-4.

Horley cc 2 Spcc A 3
Roland 1190 Vern 320 Nev 3270 Tracy 1450 Alex 2100 Dave 3370 Chris 2360 Laurie 3780 Alex 0 John 11370 (Alex 4 player )
First up Roland and Vern. Skipper back in the side after his visit to East Surrey was in dazzling form and took a Healthy 3k lead. Plenty of goes each and Vern next to get them back. Another good break and he extended his Lead to 8k. Time running out and disaster struck. A straight forward pot but miscue sent the black peg flying. Oh dear!!!
Game 2 Tracy and Nev. Nev off early and a chance for Tracy but she couldn't make the most of it. Despite Nev struggling a bit he steadily accumulated scores bit by bit and ran out a worthy winner. 0-2.
. Third up to try and stop the rot DC v Alex. Dave missing relatively early gave Alex a good chance but the game Got scrappy and tense. Dave eventually getting a lead which was enough just to see the leg out.
Chris and Loz on next and Chris making the most of his chances got the lead. With Laurie making hard work of getting Them back and time running short one final really good break was enough to nick it.
Deciding leg Myself and for second time Alex. Fortunately my break. Going really well but off on 4k and a chance for Alex. He was off early and I got them straight back. Head down and table playing well I played it out with 7k.
3-2 and out of Jail. A lovely evening with the horley lads.llp
