Chances for all, game 2 won by Boball on the last ball at the 3rd attempt for the 100 hole and Jim made a brilliant 5k break in the last 4 minutes to catch Bob Mechan in game 4 which gave the visitors the win. Nice spread of sarnies and a big plate of chips to finish the night.

Caxton 0 v Duke of Wellington 5
Now as skipper of the home team, I know I picked up the scores but for the love of anything I'm blessed if I can find it.
However I'm certain that KT, the current World Champion, and not one of my favourite singers will update you all. songwriters can update you all.
On the last note, apart from me being a doufus, many thanks to the Wellie for a fantastic evening.

Moulscoomb Club 4 - 1 New Oak A Dave 5870 - 3850 Nigel Colin 9080 - 350 Ian Tim 3440 - 2700 Phil O Martin 2060 - 1930 Bob Vic 1210 - 9410 Marcus Interesting evening with Dave setting the scene with a good win over Nigel 1-0 Ian had a few chances but couldn't get hold of the table at all and Colin getting a couple of big breaks 2-0 Tim won the match for MSC by beating Phil although neither really got going with big breaks 3-0 Martin played steady but it was another night of missed chances with Martin making it 4 nil 4-0 Marcus rather took it out on Vic getting his own back for the whole team especially as Vic missed the break. 4-1 Great evening (especially for the MSC) with a slight mix up with the food so we ended up with pizza and sandwiches. Thanks everyone

Thanks everyone Thanks to Phil for the scores, there are a few things that need mentioning and Bob wouldnt forgive me for not putting up a report and I am sure Marcus is eager to hear what I have to say after his performance. The Colin Green mind games began even before a ball was struck. When i put my name down against Dave Lee, Dave turned round to Colin and said 'I am playing the World Champ again' Colin replied ' he's not the world champ anymore it is Kevin Tunstall now BUT you have won it how many times is it FOUR Nigel?' I replied 'I think you have the wrong man Colin as I have won it ZERO times'. To which Colin said 'that is a surprise you should have won it by now.....' So as Dave Lee racked in 5k over 2 visits I was having flashbacks of my losses over in Jersey, reliving the 20k KT put past me this year. Then I was thinking is there an alternative universe where I have won it four times or is this just all a dream? Or a nightmare as when I got on the table I could barely pot a ball. But Dave told me well played as he did last year when he beat me, but really it was well played Colin... Then Colin put his name down so I felt forced to play Ian. I think he even meant to go off with 500 knowing that no visitor can get the balls back on the table, Ian couldnt, Colin did then made another 5k then 4k. We are in trouble and 2-0 down and Colin's tactical masterplan had come to fruition Tim scotney was next and although Phil got 2k infront a break at the end from Tim got them 3-0 up Parsons made it 4-0 beating Bob although 130 in that game. At this point I decided to get drunk as we were obviously now going to lose 5-0, but through my blurry eyes I watched Marcus get the balls back, get the break in, the one up and the split, not once but multiple times. If he left it for the 100 he got 100, if he left it for the 10 he rolled in a 10. I thought I was dreaming again! He swaggered off the table having made 5k, then he added 1k, then another 3.5k. He didnt want to embarrass his forlorn teammates, who he had already outscored on his own, by getting 10k so he pegged 1,500 at the end. That is 2 legs out of 10 for us at the Moulescoomb Club - both won by Marcus. So first loss for us this year and we go to the blue Anchor next to decide who will be top at halfway. Marcus tells me he is on fire (and apparently has been on fire for some time??? - his words) BUT I am apparently not to give him the break next week as he just wins against the break!
