Well done to Brighton B winning the one-day Interleague yesterday, Redhill B finished second and a depleted Worthing B finished third. Unfortunately Dave Jones dropped out in the morning and, despite Tony's best efforts he could not find a replacement before travelling. Rebecca Greenway kindly stepped in when she arrived at the club
Thank you to the Club for hosting us again, the ladies in the tea bar and to Jean for doing all the formats, raffle and chasing people, a thankless task. As always the tables offered differing tests and thank you to James Whittle, Tony Jenner, Jean Brackenridge, Alan Brackenridge and Stuart Mepham for getting them set up. Also a final thanks to Nigel Senior for helping me with the admin and for scoring plenty of matches due to Worthing's predicament
On the table no one completed a clean sweep of victories but 3 players won 7 legs, Jack Baden (nice to see him back playing and in form), Jean and Jim Greensted, Jim topped the averages by virtue of having the highest aggregate, well played to all of them. Jean took the high break of the day in her last match after Jack had held it for most of the day, well done to her
Hope everyone enjoyed the day

Great day and a very big thank you to Rebecca you were a star. Well run and some great games and as Matt says the tables offered different challenges which I personally like rather than every table playing the same. Thank you for those who stepped up to the plate and helped out with our scoring. On a personal note I could not have had the same nightmare day as I did last year when I failed to win a leg. Thank you to Worthing B team for their efforts when we know we are up against it but we rallied round and supported the team when we could. The club as usual were great hosts and so friendly.

Congratulations to Littlehampton on winning Div 2 Closely fought day. Going in to the last series 3 teams were within 4 points of each other
1. Littlehampton 37 2. Lewes 33 (2nd on matches won) 3. Billingshurst 33 4. Mid Sussex 23
I have a feeling I may have announced 2nd & 3rd place the wrong way round at the end. Apologies if i did (the end of a very long weekend)
