Andy beat Ron in the 1st but it was neck and neck until
very late on.
Terry broke with 7710 in 12 mins. Colin, on a rare visit to
Midsussex, played expertly to get to 7700 in reply. With
2 balls left , Colin checked the score. Whether it was a
Lapse in concentration, or the awkwardness of the top of
the table, he missed. Terry gratefully accepted the reprieve,
and cleared.
Sparky was totally in control in the third, but still lost several
breaks. Dave struggled with his new “Jersey “ cue.
Del won a low scoring frame, as Ian didn’t get to grips with
the table.
Mick came off early, before Barry replied with 3k. Both players
struggled afterwards, and the home team took the win.

Good times with the usual faces , plus Colin.
Chicken, chips ,onion rings and garlic mushrooms were
enjoyed by all.

What a game between Terry & Colin, Terry built a very good 7k break & looked set to make a lot more. with about 7 & a half minutes left Colin was in quick fire mode & unbelievably broke down on 7700 and about 30 seconds left. 
Well done to Sparky to avoid the brush.

The first four games were littered with pegs on a lightning fast top, and the visitors got the rub of the green. In the final leg Jim lost a good score, sinking the break four times. Paul B asserted himself and gave the home side a point.
