I would like to volunteer for a pink challenge too, I have a blouse that is almost pink and Sir Trevor has a pink polo shirt (after his niece assured him it was this year's black!) That's great Ros, I'm sure that we can get a Mid-Sussex Team together for an evening with our pink friends from the west. Obviously, Sir Trevor is a MUST for selection now........ and I would imagine that he probably qualifies for several million Kipling Points as well for believing his niece.....!! :o ;D ;)

Should be a good laugh - but hate to break it to you but the pink vibrator thingy is actually a flask ;D Well I wasn't sure. It looked like a pack of Duracell batteries with it. Mid Sussex are always game for a challenge - why, we even travelled all the way up to Northants one Saturday last November just to play in a friendly ! (A smashing evening). But there needs to be a stake. I'm rather partial to these rascals, the pink ones especially:

Along with our friends from Mid Sussex am sure having talked to a few Worthing p*ss takers/heads we would be up for it, prehaps we could arrange a triangular tournament, and have something to challange the kipling challange played in Northampton. Sure a format could be worked so that it takes it outside a normal bar billiard challange evening.

Could that triangle include Cornwall?
I've got the table at The Cornish Inn..... and 2 players (including myself) ;D
Thinking about it... you West Sussex people and the Pompey crowd are probably my nearest league :o

That sounds like a great idea TJ.....!! ;D We would just need to work out something that would make it a fun evening for all involved, but obviously based around bar billiards............... and presumably (for the benefit of our West Sussex friends) with a pink theme in it somewhere...!! :o ??? ;) I will try to find out what is involved in the Kipling Challenge (apart from drinking too much! ;)) and see if we can get any inspiration from there, a few of the Mid-Sussex players are involved with that.

The Kipling challange involve a lot of drinking, and in certain cases a lot of snoring on the way home, some decent bar billiards and plenty of banter.

Worthing is Thursday, and Mid Sussex is Wednesday, but leagues are probably drawing to a close around the beginning of April. Think a couple of palyers from each of the triangle could meet for a drink and talk through ideas, main input from the pinks as they came up with the idea. Tony.

TTO, assuming that you have not been asleep for two days and did not mean yesterday, then we are at home against the Woodmancote. I am up for a pink session if you are all about. Somebody asked me something and its bugging me. There are 4 (at least) animals - not fish - native to Britain that have plurals the same as singular, we have sheep, grouse and deer. Totally stumped on the last one.

Quite close by is a nice pub with a nautical title. ;D ;D ;D

Two more I have come up with, is there a plural of 'wild boar' also 'nightingale' seems to be a plural as well. Tommo, I could well be a VPL but more on a welsh note! rather than nautical. If I have to go to Selsey, I would have to wear my 'special wellies'. Also the Speaker of the House likes to sit on me!!

Thanks for that, VPL. I was fishing as you probably guessed. So now I know that your hostelry rhymes with the one in Emmerdale.
Will probably look in on you in the summer (if we get one this year, that is !) 8-)
