Stand Up Inn 3 CKRBL 2
Andy Guy 2460 - 1900 Ted Stringer Ted off early and struggled to get anything going, while Andy knocked the balls in - hard! 1-0 :(
Tony Ratcliffe 2330 - 4420 BB Warrior Tony got a solid opening break and got the balls back later to go further in front while I struggled. Eventually I managed to get the break back and played the table out. 1-1 :)
Paul Rayner-Brown 1420 - 6300 Derek Taylor A 2k opening break from Derek gave him an ideal start followed up by a couple more breaks to take a well deserved victory. 1-2 ;D
Chase Newman 3850 - 570 Jenny Edwards A solid game from Chase with Jenny having very little luck. 2-2 :(
Terry Gasson 3920 - 2770 Peter Edwards Pete got a 2k opening break but after that the balls didn't run for him. Terry had to work hard to get the break back, but made it count when he did. 3-2 :(
An enjoyable evening, lots of lovely sarnies and pizza and a good result for the home team! :( :'(

A great night, vociferous in defeat was yours truly, but in all fairness this result could have gone the other way, Young Henry showing us why he is still one of the most feared players in our league, practically getting the break back every visit he made to the table. Big Andy just couldn't get himself going against father Brooks. And as for Adams game against Les, well with Adam playing out of his skin, racking up a serious 6k+ break to open, he then pegged a further 2k, which had he kept going would have finished him hitting 10k+ for the first time, but fate intervened and having over hit a pot to the right 50 it rimmed and took out the black, heartbreaker!!! And onto yours truly with Keith doing nothing of the break, I got it back and slipped in 3k only to peg it, increasing looking like the brush was on, I dug deep, got the break back and slipped in 5k ish, game over and we had a point. Kevin on next with hopes of heading for the highest break of the season, but again it just didn't happen for him, surprising on such an easy break table. He was never really in any trouble though and did enough to take the win.
We wanted a good result tonight and should have gotten it, with the Bridge having 2 games in hand now, turning them over was always a tall order, but we needed to keep the pressure on, you never know. The bonus there is CKRBL lost as well so we've consolidated second place and look forward to finals night and with one game to go a serious push for the league next season.
Well played the giggling kippers, a fine evening and as always superb food matched with excellent company. Cheers

Sounds like Henry has got the Fish table playing well and maybe setup for Clayton boys to have a real bash at that on their last match.Adam must have felt unluckiest man in world not the room as that ball befelled the peg. That result has now left the Bridge needing 5 legs from 3 remaining games.Roll on Thursday.

Brewers Throw It All Away(just for you Ingers ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ) thats for demolishing me on Sunday)) Thanks Jock.......... a posting from you just isn't the same without a few (ok, a lot!) of ;D ;D ;D Good to see that you have got your computer up and running again................ and glad to see that you bounced back with a good win last night after Sunday....!! ;) ;D Unless miracles happen, the Bridge will be champions and Droops runners-up........ mathematically we could still catch the Droops, but I think that winning both our games 5-0 and you losing your last match 0-5 is unlikely!! :'( ;)
