Just what does one have to do to become a distinguished member? Is it number of posts? Number of sensible posts? Number of posts comprising more than one line? Pete, much as I'd like to say that it is for the number of sensible posts, it's actually for non-moderators who have made between 500 and 999 posts. So you must have been one once. At the moment it's a very exclusive club, with only one member. ;)

You turn into Fazza.
Or more correctly, you become a Socerer's Apprentice. Sorry, an Apprentice Master.
I wonder in the case of a female achieving this milestone, would she become an Apprentice Mistress ? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

The latest odds :
Evens Colemanator 1 Evens Herr von Puebik Evens Milhouse
6-1 H, Hevvie, Doug 10-1 baaah !
this one appears to be a 3-horse race....
a book can be opened on the Kipling points for 06/07 but I'd need to appoint an insider as a tic-tac man first. ;)

Yep, I think the Colemanator looks fav. I seem to have dropped off the pace with not too many posts recently. Also, I see I am not figuring in the Tart points. Winter league is looming though?!!?!! :o ;D

Sorry Jase but I think the Burton Cons 'A' are going flat out for every trophy this year :D Hmm, we're losing a good player, not sure if we'll figure much at all, a bit more pressure on the rest of us. We'll be bringing youngsters on, we might figure in the league in 2-3 years time, that might be the 2nd division, i will be looking for a third singles title though ;).........................I'll be back!

You turn into Fazza. I wonder in the case of a female achieving this milestone, would she become an Apprentice Mistress ? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D It is not something I study at all, but just calculated that I have posted about 17% of all posts on this forum. I will try hard to let Tommo catch up, and he will no doubt try hard to do so. But please do not wish anyone to turn into me, it is much better to be popular. But, if there are any apprentice mistresses, please give them my number.

The latest betting :
2-5 Milhouse 5-4 Colemanator & Herr von Puebik
6-1 Hevvie, Doug 25-1 baaah !
H out of the betting (still working hard at Uni if he knows what's good for him).
Milhouse now firm favourite, and by the time he gets there will be the ONLY DM, as tommo will by then have become an apprentice to the "sauce-eror" (=PF). ;) ;D

Can't be that many. But I hear Scottish years are shorter than English ones, although living up there they would have SEEMED longer.

Unlike the character Douglas Farfrae in The Mayor Of Casterbridge who was always singing with such pathos of his beloved homeland, without having any intention of going back there ! ;D

A sudden shake-up at the top of the betting, H/V/P has now overtaken the Colemanator. And Milhouse appears to have gone into hibernation.....
